    Job Title: Buildings Commissioning Agent

    Location: US Hybrid Preferred Locations:

    • Kansas City, MO
    • Arlington, VA
    • Denver, CO
    • Atlanta, GA
    • Dallas, TX

    Duration: 6 Months (with possible conversion)

    Travel Requirement: Up to 50% (domestic and international travel required)

    Job Description:

    We are seeking a Buildings Commissioning Agent to join our dynamic team working on a Federal government project. This role involves ensuring the successful execution of commissioning activities, leveraging your expertise to analyze and provide solutions for client needs, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive results. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in mechanical commissioning and the ability to manage project scope, schedule, budget, and quality effectively.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Serve as a Mechanical Commissioning Specialist, ensuring work compliance with applicable codes and standards.
    • Manage the commissioning scope, schedule, budget, and quality for assigned projects.
    • Coordinate actively with internal and external team members on projects.
    • Recognized as a technical specialist with in-depth knowledge of engineering processes and industry technical aspects.
    • Share knowledge proactively with other staff members.

    Required Skills and Experience:

    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in commissioning, with documented experience as a lead responsible for commissioning systems similar to those in construction projects.
    • Federal industry experience.
    • Knowledge of mechanical and controls system startup, Testing, Adjusting, and Balancing (TAB), and Performance Verification Testing (PVT).
    • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Architectural Engineering from an accredited program.
    • Certification as a Commissioning Agent by a nationally recognized commissioning organization (e.g., ACG, AEE, BCA, ICB/TABB, NEBB).

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • CSA (Commissioning Specialists Association) membership is a plus.
    • Design experience in relevant subject matters.

    Education:

    • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Architectural Engineering from a recognized accredited program.
