    Description

    Job Title: Commissioning Engineer

    Location: Dallas, Texas

    The company

    A highly regarded construction and engineering consultancy is seeking to recruit a motivated, experienced Commissioning Engineer as part of the growth of their commissioning team in Dallas, Texas.

    The position

    This position will involve developing and coordinating functional testing of multi-stack equipment and multi-redundant system configurations within a trade. You will review criteria, specifications, drawings, equipment submittals, and other documentation pertinent to commissioning.

    Other responsibilities will include but not limited to:

    • Oversight of project financials and interoffice/client reporting structure.
    • Provide technical coordination of complex commissioning efforts with multiple trades and efforts occurring simultaneously.
    • Writes engineering proposals under the directions of a senior engineer or senior designer project manager.
    • Participates in various trade organizations and prepare presentations.
    • Estimates construction costs and to evaluate feasibility of construction using ROM
    • Conduct operational, facility, and risk audits under the direction of a senior engineer or senior project manage

    Could this role be for you?

    • Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or required years of experience,
    • A minimum of 5 years field experience in hands-on testing, validation and troubleshooting of large Mechanical systems
    • 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in the MEP field
    • Experience working on commissioning of large distribution systems within the pharmaceutical, mission critical, industrial, data center, healthcare or life science sectors.
