Required:
Currently licensed as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State.# Currently licensed as a Nurse Practitioner in Adult, Family Practice or Specialty area in New York State.# Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.# Minimum of two (2) years of experience in acute care nursing.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required at the time of hire of within#two (2)#weeks after hire.# Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required at the time of hire or within three (3) months after hire.#
AHA Stroke Certification part A required within one (1) month of employment; part B required within six (6) months of hire date.
# Hold and maintain all required certifications to practice in an OASAS certified addiction program (Only required for#NPs working with Chemical Dependency).### # Will need to be available all shifts weekday and weekend.# # Preferred:# Previous critical care experience.# Master#s Degree in Nursing or equivalent.# Certification in a specialty area.

Competence in computer/information systems use and management.
