    Description

    Ledgent is partnering with a small-mid sized defense contractor, looking to add management to their team

    Pay Scale: $110K-$140K DOE

    ____

    They would like to bring on a Sr. Accounting Manager or Controller to oversee a team of 3, and growing. This is a temp to hire role. You would also have an annual review that will include a merit increase.

    ____

    Duties:

    • Prepare/ review postings to the General Ledger
    • Responsible for accounts payable staff, payroll taxes, invoicing, contract indirect rate determination
    • Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations
    • Prepare timely and accurate monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, including balance sheet, income statement and statement of cash flow in compliance with GAAP
    • Generate monthly status reports, public vouchers, invoices, and financial project tracking
    • Prepare and monitor monthly indirect rates and analyze impact for forecasting
    • Provide financial data for preparation of tax returns and liaison with CPA firm on tax matters
    • Prepare for financial, tax, and Government contract accounting audits
    • Prepare Indirect Cost Proposal/rates and Provisional Billing Rates
    • Support Bid and Proposal activities. Prepare cost pricing, cash flow, and break even

    Requirements:

    • Degree A or F
    • 3+ years in Defense/Government entities
    • GL, Close, Budgeting, Forecasting
    • 1+ year as ascending Sr, Accountant or above
    • 1+ year with FAR, DFARS, DCMA and DCAA compliance
    • Knowledge of Cost-Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) and Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contracts
    • Deltek Costpoint, QuickBooks software and WAWF (PIEE)
