    Description
    Job Title: CBO Process Technician at Seaboard Energy

    SUMMARY: The CBO Process Technician is responsible for operating equipment in their assigned area, supporting Operators and Lab Staff to meet operational standards.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • Operate various process controls and machinery, making adjustments to maintain process operations within required limits.
    • Ensure equipment functions properly, adjusting as needed to meet established standards.
    • Follow SOPs for consistency, safety, and quality standards to achieve corporate goals.
    • Troubleshoot operating problems, maintain parameters, and notify supervisor of issues.
    • Provide guidance to Field Operators for smooth plant operation.
    • Monitor equipment, coordinate repairs, and conduct preventative maintenance when necessary.
    • Receive and adjust plant operating parameters based on results from Quality Assurance.
    • Follow safety and health regulations in the plant and report concerns.
    • Provide feedback on deficiencies and perform other assigned duties.
    REQUIREMENTS: To succeed in this role, candidates must:
    • Have a high school diploma or equivalent
    • Possess 5+ years of refinery experience
    • Learn process operating parameters and control system operations for safety compliance and plant production efficiency.
    • Follow detailed operating procedures to maintain parameters and respond to off-normal conditions.
    • Utilize data to develop responses to operating conditions and coordinate Field Operator activities.
    • Respond to alarms/off-normal conditions through computer-based control systems.
    • Interface with control systems and apply analytical skills for troubleshooting.
