Insurance Follow up Representative

Billing Manager

***: The Insurance Follow up Representative is responsible for collecting and resolving outstanding third-party receivables, meeting productivity standards related to cash collections, aging of accounts, timely follow up and account resolution.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Extensive Insurance follow up for various insurance plans
  • Working denials, submitting appeals and corrected claims
  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of insurance plan policy updates including authorization and medical necessity requirements

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:


  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Computer proficiency
  • Strong customer service, verbal and written communication skills
  • Comprehensive knowledge of insurance plans, member eligibility, and medical billing
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively on assigned tasks and projects
