    AMC Freight Management

    We are seeking a Sales Representative to join our team You will be responsible for expanding the company's book of business by growing our client base. We are a family-owned business focused on building a competitive broker business with a strong reputation for customer service, great carrier relationships and trustworthiness.

    Summary of Responsibilities:

    As a Sales Representative, you will market the AMC Freight Management to develop, establish and maintain relationships with Carriers/Customers in the truckload marketplace by providing solutions to our customers' transportation needs. The main focus of this role is to grow our business by focusing on Customer requirements and developing strategic Customer partnerships that will drive company success. The successful candidate will be career-minded and be a self-starter with great energy, focus and a passion for helping our customers through the use of AMC's services.

    Primary Qualifications:

    • Markets services and promotes AMC Freight Management transportation services that include full-truckload and less-than-truckload shipments.
    • Uses available resources to perform freight-market analysis and communicate market trends.
    • Increase the book of business annually
    • Maintains and grows monthly revenue, gross profit and margin goals.
    • Develop creative solutions to meet our customer's needs to provide excellent service.
    • Perform data analysis on our customers available freight
    • Collaborate cross-functionally as a Team to assist in managing effective customer relationships.

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum preferred two-year degree from an accredited university or up to 12 months equivalent experience.
    • Transportation sales experience and the ability to work flexible hours are highly desirable.
    • Ability to use a CRM to manage customer contacts
    • Ability to deal effectively and tactfully with customers and employees.
    • Ability to make decisions in a timely and professional manner, plus have analytical ability, initiative and problems solving capability.
    • Requires full-time attendance

    • Excellent communication, networking, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
    • Flexible; ability to change focus quickly to meet demands of market conditions and/or company needs.
    • Results driven, enthusiastic and highly motivated.
    • Ability to thrive under deadlines and work in a team environment, while also delivering independent results.
    • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple projects with a sense of urgency.
    • Must have the ability to deal effectively and tactfully with customers and employees and make decisions in a timely, professional manner.
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word and Excel, CRM packages.

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: competitive base salary
