- Be Organized. You will need to stay focused on different tasks and use your time effectively and efficiently to be proactive and meet deadlines.
- Be Collaborative. You will need to work with your team to accomplish overall production, retention, and growth goals.
- An active General Lines Property and Casualty license issued by the Texas Department of Insurance.
- Four (4) years of experience as a Commercial Lines Account Manager for an insurance agency. Independent Insurance agency experience is a plus.
- Thorough knowledge of commercial insurance policies and coverages.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Experience in Applied EPIC is preferred but not required.

Job DescriptionThe official title for this position is Commercial Account Advisor.We are seeking a Commercial Insurance professional skilled at providing guidance on insurance coverage while developing relationships. As a Commercial Account Advisor, you will be primarily responsible for offering advice and expertise to clients to develop an insurance solution. In addition, this role will act as a liaison between insurance carriers and clients. Account Advisors also work closely with an Insurance Advisor and a Service Advisor in managing commercial clients to provide exceptional customer service and increase revenue on the book of business. This position will report to the VP of Commercial Lines.
