Bacio di Latte, a high-end Gelato shop, is seeking an experienced VP of Human Resources to join our rapidly expanding company_


Bacio di Latte is a high-end experience gelato shop, making fresh Italian gelato every day in house. Established in 2011, Bacio di Latte has over 180 stores internationally. Our gelato reflects the passion and care that we take in making the best product possible. We are expanding and looking for exceptional talent to help our company grow The VP of Human Resources, will be responsible for overseeing and implementing HR practices and strategies that align with Bacio's overall vision, values and business objectives. Their duties will include ensuring compliance with State and Federal laws and regulations, implementing competitive compensation and benefits packages, analyzing data to manage talent efficacy as well as managing employee data and employee relations.


Responsibilities:


  • Align HR strategies with the organization's overall business objectives
  • Develop and implement Human Resource plans and strategies for compensation, benefits, employment processing, department accountabilities and health and safety
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local legal employment and safety requirements
  • Research compensation to ensure competitive in market
  • Guide management and employee actions by researching, developing, writing and updating policies
  • Devise and oversee strategies for performance evaluation, manage employee performance, training and development to increase productivity and help achieve organizational objectives
  • Analyze HR data to evaluate the effectiveness of HR processes, determine areas to improve, and make datadriven HR decisions
  • Develops human resources operations financial strategies by estimating, forecasting, and anticipating requirements
  • Ensure employee information is stored correctly and updated to be available and accessible anytime
  • Manage employee conflicts before they escalate through proper mediation and fielding of complaints; Manage labor disputes, and insurance claims.
  • Anticipate and resolve litigation risks
  • Monitor adherence to internal policies and legal standards
  • Utilize sound judgment to handle challenges and risks
  • Deal with grievances and violations invoking disciplinary action when required
  • Supports management by providing human resources advice, counsel, and decisions
  • Accomplishes special project results by identifying and clarifying issues and priorities.

Requirements and skills

  • 3+ year's experience as VP of HR in the Food & Beverage Industry preferably QSR/Fast Casual _
    OR_ 5+ year's experience as Director of HR in the Food & Beverage Industry preferably QSR/Fast Casual
  • Deep understanding of federal and state labor regulations, employment laws, and compliance requirements
  • Thorough knowledge of onboarding, employee analysis and development, fostering employee engagement and employee relations
  • High proficiency with HR techniques to attract and retain talent
  • Deep understanding of HR operations and how they align with the company's overall business strategy
  • Excellent knowledge of HR data analysis and reporting
  • Knowledgeable in creating competitive compensation packages, attractive benefits plans, and incentives aligned with industry standards
  • The ability to manage conflicts, disputes, and grievances while maintaining a positive and harmonious work environment
  • Solid track record of successfully implementing HR strategies.

  • Excellent problemsolving skills
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • BSc/BA in human resources, business administration or relevant field; SHRM or MSc/MA in human resources will be a plus

Pay:
$145, $185,000.00 per year
