    Duration: 1 year+

    What are some interesting problems you'll be working on?

    No day looks the same for an engineer on our team. You will have to opportunity to make a direct impact and work on projects related to:

    1. Scaling our platform without losing performance and reliability

    2. Utilizing machine learning to gain further insight from our data

    3. Building out UI/API features that enables customers (internal/external) to easily access data

    4. Optimizing data ingest pipelines

    5. Engineering internal tools to simplify and automate the maintenance and development of our system

    Where can you make an impact?

    Thinking out of the box and considering the customer experience are key to our success. We never want to impact service unless it is in a positive manner. We need additional team members to follow their passion of coding and contribute to the delivery code at the heart of many organizations

    Who are we looking to hire?

    A mid-level engineer who demonstrates a clear passion for technology and an eagerness to continue learning and building large, distributed systems. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, good communicator and is excited by new challenges and the opportunity to grow.

    Responsibilities:

    •Build and maintain a large ClickHouse database to enable faster growth and platform scalability

    •Develop internal tools to help automate and manage our system

    •Optimize data ingest, filtering and enhancement

    •Utilize machine learning and data science principles to gain valuable insight from our data

    •Onboard new teams to our platform

    •Integrate third-party database visualization tools

    •Create microservices to enable our data delivery

    •Enhance existing observability UI to better support our customers

    •Knowledge of data structures, design patterns, and algorithms

    •Experience with OOO programming languages

    •An open mind and a passion for coding excellence
    • Great design and problem-solving skills, with a strong bias for architecting at scale
    • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, adaptable, proactive, and willing to take ownership

    •Good communicator; able to analyze and clearly articulate complex issues and technologies understandably and engagingly
