Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Bank Secrecy Act Officer.

As the Bank Secrecy Act Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations related to anti-money laundering and financial crimes.

Duties:

Develop and implement policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and other relevant regulations
Conduct regular internal audits to assess the effectiveness of our antimoney laundering (AML) program
Monitor and investigate suspicious activities, including reviewing transaction reports and conducting due diligence on customers
Prepare and submit regulatory reports, such as Currency Transaction Reports (CTRs) and Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs), in a timely manner
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to provide guidance on compliancerelated matters
Stay uptodate with changes in laws, regulations, and industry best practices related to AML and financial crimes
Conduct training sessions for employees to promote awareness of BSA requirements

Experience:

Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in bank BSA compliance or a similar role
Strong knowledge of the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), OFAC, CIP, AML
Experience with regulatory reporting requirements and familiarity with regulatory agencies such as FinCEN
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify potential risks and implement appropriate controls
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
Effective communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders
