    We are on the lookout for a skilled Paralegal leader to bolster our expanding legal team. The ideal candidate will utilize their experience and organizational abilities to prepare and manage legal documents, file motions, interview clients, and conduct legal research.     Compensation:

    $30+ hourly DOE

    Responsibilities:
    • Organize case filing systems to ensure proper document sorting and easy access, along with other administrative tasks as required
    • Assist attorneys in trial preparation by organizing exhibits, coordinating witnesses, researching legal articles, and aiding in client meetings and motion filings
    • Create legal documents, pleadings, and correspondence under attorney guidance
    • Prepare subpoenas and liaise with process servers
    • Conduct client interviews to gather legal issue information
    • Utilize strong motion writing and discovery skills
    • Experience with unlawful detainers is a plus
    • Handle calendaring tasks efficiently
    • Develop templates for counsel for various legal documents
    • Review records, discovery, and testimony transcripts for summary preparation
    Qualifications:
    • Strong organizational and time-management skills
    • Completed an ABA-approved paralegal certificate program, Associate's degree, or similar qualifications in paralegal studies
    • Excellent interpersonal skills and proficiency in writing and grammar

    Required:

    • Extensive experience in motion writing and discovery within a busy law firm
    • Prior litigation paralegal experience in a busy law firm
    • Familiarity with administrative procedures, word processing, and office systems
    • Knowledge of client service principles and problem-solving techniques
    • Proficiency in office software and legal applications
    • Ability to make prompt and accurate decisions in complex situations
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational prowess
    • Effective multitasking capabilities and meeting deadlines under pressure
    • Basic understanding of CA procedural code

    Preferred:

    • Prior exposure to laws, legal codes, court procedures, and government regulations in civil procedure
    • Experience applying Civil Procedure to legal issues
    • Previous background in reviewing records, discovery, and testimony transcripts
