- Coordinates the monthly financial close process, including journal entries, accruals and Hyperion submission.
- Prepares monthly financial statements and analyses for both revenue and expense.
- Oversees the internal control systems within the division to support sound financial data.
- Coordinates the completion of monthly reconciliations, assuring timely resolution of reconciling items.
- Acts as liaison with SPHP central accounting office to assure accuracy, consistency and completeness of financial data.
- Ensures proper grant expenditure tracking and reporting, in accordance with contracts.
- Coordinates work papers and schedules required for external audit and SPHP central accounting office.
- Prepares documents for annual Form 990 and other regulatory/tax reports.
- Assists in the coordinates the annual expense budget preparation, working with departmental leaders and the budget division to assure a coherent budget.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration.
- Prior supervisory/managerial experience preferred.
- Experience and knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles.
- Minimum of 5 years of finance experience.

St. Peter's Health Partners is seeking a Supervisor, Finance to join our Residential Services Division located at St. Mary's Hospital in Troy, NY.
The Finance Supervisor, Accounting, Residential Services Division leads the accounting and financial reporting process for three Nursing Homes.
Responsibilities include month-end close process, generation of financial reports, internal controls, reconciliations and providing assistance to the Administrators of the Nursing Homes on operational matters as they relate to Finance.

Pay Range:
$ $43.22
Pay is based on experience, skills, and education.
Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates.
The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.All new employees are required to undergo and pass all applicable state and federally mandated pre-employment screening requirements.
