    Description

    Summary

    Position Summary

    The Technical Support Specialist position is responsible for maintaining and supporting the various systems used for credentialing and enrollment. They create and run all new reports. Use disciplined analysis to understand the current state, and to envision a future state that optimizes system capabilities. Maintains security and data protection integrity. The Technical Support Specialist is viewed as a respected resource within the department and within the MaineHealth System. They act as a liaison with vendors, MH IT support resources, internal, and external customers.

    Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

      1. Education: GED or High School diploma required
      2. License/Certifications: N/A
      3. Experience: A minimum of 3 years' experience with the systems that support credentialing and enrollment (MSOW, Verity, Epic, Synergy).
      4. Experience with Crystal Report Writer is highly desirable.
      5. Must be proficient in MS Office and Adobe Acrobat.
      6. The ability to present information and advice on issues from a broad perspective.
      7. Must have proven problem-solving skills with the ability to identify problems and come up with solutions.
      8. Effective organizational, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
      9. The ability to work with and maintain confidential data.
      10. The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented and goal-centered environment.
      11. The ability to work independently, demonstrating independent judgement, along with the ability to seek guidance and/or support from appropriate resources.
