ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT TO OWNER


Gilbertsville Farmhouse is a resort-style wedding venue specializing in weekend weddings located in Central NY (45 minutes from Cooperstown, NY, and 25 minutes from Oneonta, NY).

Job Responsibilities / Qualifications / Skills desired:
Superior organization skills
Responds timely to special requests
Helps maintain inventory of necessary supplies
Maintain and organize files, documents, and records
Collecting and organizing time sheets to help do payroll
Great with computers/proficient in Microsoft Office Suite/Google (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Ability to learn and implement new systems like timeclock or phone system
Schedules appointments as needed for maintenance items
Knowledge of file management systems and practices
Conduct research and gather information as needed
Routine readings and tasks completed and recorded
Follows time allotted for specific tasks
Creating protocols and check sheets
Assists other departments when needed to ensure optimum service at event center
Performs additional duties as needed
Independent work done in expected timeframe, while being a self-starter
Customer service is most important as clients around premises
Time management skills
Attention to detail
The ability to work under pressure sometimes, due to time of turnover
The ability to communicate in a fast-moving environment
Excellent communication, both written and verbal
Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
Highly responsible & reliable
Ability to work cohesively as part of a team

Essential skills:
Must be able to multi-task and take direction well, while being ambitious to complete tasks to help owner.

Skills in putting systems in place, creating Google sheets/Excel documents and demonstrating high superior organizational skills with attention to details.

Based on experience and can discuss in final interview.

Monday through Friday 9-6pm
Weekend availability
