BASIC FUNCTION:
Sustain security of building and maintain /operate firefighting equipment when necessary.
REPORTING LINE:
Reports to Security Supervisor
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintains security watches at building entrance and patrols building to insure safety of residents, noting and correcting irregularities (open windows, doors, common areas).
- Maintain visitors and incident logs.
- Inspects and maintains security equipment as directed.
- Assists in fire drills as directed. Performs daily checks of fire safety equipment, logging conditions encountered and filling service requests as needed.
- Assists residents and staff as needed to maintain orderly function of the building.
- Operates motor vehicle
- Assists residence manager and case managers in residents' emergencies.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High School graduate or GED preferred.
Must have a certificate of completion of the eight (8) hour pre-assignment training for security guards, and at least one (1) year experience in the field.
THE ABOVE JOB DESCRIPTION IS NOT INTENDED TO BE ALL INCLUSIVE, AND EMPLOYEES WILL ALSO PERFORM OTHER REASONABLY RELATED DUTIES AS ASSIGNED BY IMMEDIATE SUPERVISORY AND OTHER MANAGEMENT PERSONNEL AS REQUIRED.
Pay:
$16.71 per hour
