Responsibilities:

This position is primarily responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our Warehouse/Shipping & Receiving areas.

This includes managing inventory, supervising warehouse staff, ensuring the timely and accurate shipment of goods, and maintaining a safe working environment.


  • Schedules staff workload, establishes priorities, and assigns tasks based on the availability or capability of workers, materials, and equipment.
  • Train, develop and monitor staff effectiveness, ensuring adherence to company policies and requirements established by applicable SOP.
  • Ensures inventory levels are adequately maintained by performing inventory cycle counts, monitoring for accuracy, and reporting/addressing findings.
  • Certifies that all orders are verified and accurately recorded.
  • Supervises the delivery of all materials and ensures inspection is performed for quality compliance.
  • Issues requisitions for materials, prepares reports, and maintains files and records receipt.
  • Develops and implements improved methods for chain of custody in supply operations.
  • Administer safety protocols and best practices to create a secure working environment, including training staff on safety procedures and the use of equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, including those related to safety, labor, and environmental standards.
  • Works closely with all other areas of the company to ensure a cohesive team approach is utilized to proactively address any issues.
  • Addresses staff attendance issues for all areas of Warehouse.
  • Knowledge of the CBA as it relates to staff scheduling, time off, payroll, and disciplinary actions.
  • Knowledge of DOT, OSHA & FDA regulations as applicable.
  • Reviews all documentation for completeness and accuracy.
  • Works on projects and/or teams as may be assigned.
  • Any related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent, Associates Degree is a plus.


Experience:

Five years of experience in Warehouse/Logistics operations within a healthcare supply chain.


Any combination of education, training, and experience equivalent to the requirements above has supplied the necessary knowledge, skills and experience to perform the essential functions of the job.

Licenses / Certifications

Forklift certification a plus or willing to be trained.


For applicants who will perform this position in New York City or Westchester County, the proposed annual salary is $65,500.00 p/yr.

to $72,100.00 p/yr.

For applicants who will perform this position outside of New York City or Westchester County, salary will reflect local market rates and be commensurate with the applicant's skills, job-related knowledge, and experience.
