This opportunity is part of the
Global Technology Commercial Products & Platforms team, where our vision is to develop technology that delights our customers and enables our crews to operate our restaurants reliably and effectively.

The Manager - Tech Lead, Consent & Privacy is an outstanding role that combines engineering expertise with key partnerships and integrations with our consent management platform.

This position is crucial in ensuring data reliability, privacy, and security.

As the Tech Lead, you will drive the engineering mix towards completing the backlog, own the solution and development of the product/platform features, and lead the squad's daily activities.

You will also collaborate closely with product, design, legal, and data teams to leverage vendor capabilities across our digital products and platforms in ways that engage and delight our customers.

Accountabilities & Responsibilities:

Attend all squadlevel ceremonies and act as the leader of the Software Development Engineers (SDE's) of the respective squad
Partner with PM (in a Product squad) to own the entire lifecycle of the backlog grooming process.
Lead the output (quality and efficiency) of external vendor squads to ensure they are delivering to the standards required by McDonald's.
Ensure the code development is in line with the architectural, quality, and security standards.
Maintain documentation standards for all software shipped by the squad.
Answer technical questions from the squads and stay accountable for technical solutions.
Accountable for deployment of new features, including QA, push to production, and defect remediation.

Qualifications

5+ years experience working in a software development environment as an engineer, data analyst, or data product manager with knowledge of Agile software development process
Familiar partnering with stakeholders across an atscale, complex, global matrixed organizational setup
Excellent understanding of the latest development technologies
Infrastructure knowledge
Experience in pair programming, continuous integration, testdriven development & incremental design
Promotes adoption of Agile methodologies to secure outcomedriven mindset in product teams
