Contract Duration:1 Year

OT Rate: Straight Time (Exempt)

Estimated Regular Hours/Week: 40.00

Estimated OT Hours/Week: 3.00

Skills Required:

Proficient in scripting to automate manual system administration tasks using tools like Jenkins, Ansible, and MS PowerShell
Experience in migrating SQL Servers to MS Azure, upgrading to latest versions, configuring Azure SQL Managed Instance services, and setting up MS SQL Server Always on clustering services

Experience Required:

Ten or more years of hands-on experience in SQL Server installations, configurations, management, and monitoring
Managing a large MS SQL Server environment with over 300 servers
Developing automation scripts for database server tasks using Jenkins, Ansible, or similar tools
Migrating and upgrading SQL Server versions, including on-premise to MS Azure migration
Building and managing Azure SQL Managed Instance services and MS SQL Server Always on clustering
Implementing security protocols based on best practices
Working with Commvault Backup client for SQL Server backup and restore

Education Required:

Cloud certifications such as Azure Fundamentals and above, AWS Cloud Practitioner and above, Microsoft Professional certifications, and Google Cloud certifications

Additional Information:

Hybrid work schedule option available with a mix of on-premise and Telework after discussion during the interview process
