Vienna Technical Product Designer Training (m/f/d) 2024

The vocational training at Heidelberg offers young people diverse and interesting development opportunities and perspectives. Nationwide, more than 300 apprentices and students are continuously trained in various apprenticeships and dual degree programs.

Training focuses on:

  • Developing 3D models on CAD devices
  • Creating technical drawings and documents in accordance with general and specific standards
  • Acquiring basic knowledge of product technology
  • Acquiring basic knowledge of production and assembly technology
  • Independent learning and working
  • Quality-conscious action

Educational requirements:

  • At least a middle school diploma

Personal requirements:

  • Friendly demeanor
  • Teamwork skills
  • Sense of responsibility
  • Technical understanding
  • Good spatial imagination
  • Basic knowledge of information technology/PC skills

Duration of training:

  • 3.5 years with good performance, possible reduction to 3 years

Perspectives:

  • Deployment in the development of mechanical engineering products, in design/development, in technical documentation.
