The new Goddard School of Maplewood is seeking an experienced, nurturing, and passionate
Assistant Resource Teacher who supports a safe, healthy, engaging, and nurturing learning environment for children in all classes, infants through pre-K.
As an Assistant Resource Teacher, you will:
- Support your team to implement creative hands-on activities and projects based on your observations of children's interests and skills.
- Support learning opportunities that encourage curiosity, exploration, problemsolving, critical, and creative thinking
- Create and support a caring classroom environment in which students learn cooperatively, and interact positively with one another
- Model respectful interactions with students of diverse backgrounds while responding to their individualized needs
Requirements:
- Passion for working with young children (birth through 5)
- Desire for flexibility in supporting all classrooms
- Excellent communication
- Experience working with young children and colleagues
Pay:
$ $22.00 per hour
