Job Summary and Qualifications:

What You Will Do In This Role:

You will conducts all Emergency Preparedness Exercises and prepares proper documentation for the Board of Directors and the State office of Emergency Management.
You will provide a high profile for the safety function within the hospital.
You will develop and follows protocols to assure expeditious, consistent and appropriate investigation and resolution of specific safety situations.

What Qualifications You Will Need:

Bachelor's degree in a field relevant to security or law enforcement from a recognized, accredited 4 year college or university required
Previous licensure as a Master Peace Officer, TCLEOSE Certification, current State Guard Card preferred
Current supervisory certification by the International Association for Hospital Security and Safety preferred
Minimum five years' experience as a licensed Texas Peace Officer
Minimum three years' experience providing security in a healthcare setting
Current experience in healthcare security is highly desirable
