Job Summary and Qualifications:


What You Will Do In This Role:

  • You will conducts all Emergency Preparedness Exercises and prepares proper documentation for the Board of Directors and the State office of Emergency Management.
  • You will provide a high profile for the safety function within the hospital.
  • You will develop and follows protocols to assure expeditious, consistent and appropriate investigation and resolution of specific safety situations.

What Qualifications You Will Need:


  • Bachelor's degree in a field relevant to security or law enforcement from a recognized, accredited 4 year college or university required
  • Previous licensure as a Master Peace Officer, TCLEOSE Certification, current State Guard Card preferred
  • Current supervisory certification by the International Association for Hospital Security and Safety preferred
  • Minimum five years' experience as a licensed Texas Peace Officer
  • Minimum three years' experience providing security in a healthcare setting
  • Current experience in healthcare security is highly desirable
