    Description
    Overview
    • The Program in Applied and Computational Mathematics (PACM) is looking for a Program Manager to handle day-to-day operations, budget planning, financial management, and appointments processing.
    • The role requires expertise in the university's financial systems to provide necessary resources for academic, research, and administrative tasks.
    Responsibilities
    • Personnel Management: Supervise hiring, evaluations, and terminations. Ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
    • Academic Management: Oversee teaching activities, deadlines, faculty appointments, and student support.
    • Budget and Financial Management: Develop and manage the program's budget, monitor spending, and provide financial analysis.
    • Communications: Manage the department website and redesign projects.
    • Facilities/Events Management: Coordinate office logistics, space assignments, and event planning.
    Qualifications
    • Essential Qualifications: Bachelor's degree, 5+ years of experience, leadership, problem-solving skills, and knowledge of financial operations.
    • Preferred Qualifications: University administration experience, conflict management skills.
