Job Summary


Responsible for aligning all strategies, operations and physician relationships within MHMG Primary Care Clinic operations and care redesign to support value-based care.

This includes responsibility for sharing and implementing best practices with independent MHMD Primary Care physicians.


Key areas of responsibility include:
direction and decision making, financial and quality performance of clinics, compliance, patient satisfaction, value based initiatives and productivity. This also supports the execution of the growth and strategy as outlined by Primary Care Service Line strategic plan.

Role is dyad partner with CMO of MHMG and CMO of MHMD. Reports to SVP, CEO Physicians of Memorial Hermann.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or Healthcare Administration, required.


Licenses/Certifications:
Fellowship status in ACHE or MGMA is preferred.


Experience / Knowledge / Skills:


  • Ten (10) years of progressive leadership in healthcare and practice management, required.
  • Exceptional problemsolving, criticalthinking, organizational, interpersonal, and written/verbal communication skills; must demonstrate and promote a strong commitment to achieving customer satisfaction.
  • Exceptional leadership abilities to influence and engage the workforce to drive exceptional endtoend delivery of care.
  • Possesses expert direct performance management acumen.
  • Computer literate: Microsoft Office competency required; clinical information systems is preferred.
  • Strong ability to analyze various data sets and work collaboratively to develop and implement action plans.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Participates in the development of both strategic and tactical organizational planning to support the mission and goals of the Physician Practices within the Physician Organization.
  • Responsible for monitoring and communicating the strategic plan's execution. Partners with the Campus Csuites and Service Line leaders as necessary to drive enterprisewide strategy.
  • Develops plans and objectives and maintains partnerships for the MSO Operations supporting primary care performance.
  • Accountable for maintaining an operating environment in which policies, personnel, systems, and processes are systematic, aligned and conducive to cost effective and value based operations throughout the regions.
  • Provides operational support for practices related to value based care operational key initiatives including best in class workflows to ensure success.
  • Understands, supports and optimizes performance in a wide array of riskbearing contractual relationships.
  • Conducts regular performance review meetings with key providers and practices to ensure continual performance improvement related to quality, appropriate utilization, patient satisfaction as well as review of key value based care KPI's.
  • Assists recruitment/due diligence team in the assessment of acquisition opportunities as well as the development of integration plans.
  • Continuously identifies areas for improvement and driving change initiatives to completion to improve overall operations and financial outcomes
  • Ensures a culture that embraces collaboration, continuous financial and operational improvement while recognizing and implementing initiatives to optimize operations and profitability.
