Job Summary:
The Insurance Verification Records Clerk is tasked with validating and inputting patient information and insurance coverage into the system, along with liaising with physician offices, insurance providers, and following up with patients. Responsible for pre-verifying patient insurance for admission to the surgery center. Confirms insurance coverage via phone, addresses any coverage issues, and escalates complex matters to superiors. Conducts patient interviews and handles necessary paperwork for an efficient admission process while ensuring compliance with surgery center and regulatory guidelines.

USPI adheres to applicable federal, state, and local laws on mandatory workforce vaccination.
