- Responsible for practicing, supporting, and promoting Station Casinos' "We Win Hearts" Company-wide culture and demonstrating Station Casinos' Championship Service Standards at all times.
- Deploy, configure, manage, and optimize various compute and data management platforms used by Station Casinos to support applications and products of other product teams.
- Consult with other Engineers to identify current operating procedures and clarify design and implementation objectives.
- Formulate plans using industry standard techniques to outline tasks required to deliver committed user stories.
- Work effectively as a member within an agile kanban team within a self-organized team, providing input and feedback in a helpful manner.
- Address and resolve network performance and availability issues in a cost-effective and timely fashion.
- Participate with other members of a product team to operate, optimize, and support platforms in a production environment.
- HSD/GED and/or equivalent work experience.
- At least four (4) years of experience in an enterprise environment with demonstrable proficiency in design and implementation, in at least four (4) of the major products in use at Station Casinos preferred.
- Demonstrable knowledge of Platforms and Apps such as: Azure, Linux OS and Scripting, Kubernetes/AKS, Service Mesh, Loadbalancer, Terraform-Infrastructure as Code, AzureDevOps, Jenkins, CI/CD, Traefik, YAML, Sematext/Logging Frameworks, Rabbit MQ, Mongo DB, Docker, Nutanix, AWS, Active Directory, Windows 10 (all versions), Vmware, Cisco UCS, , and monitoring across all environments.
- Experienced with a number of systems. Subject Matter Expert in at least one area or system. Working knowledge of a number of other areas of specialization.
- An understanding of agile kanban principles and practices. Certification as an agile Team Member preferred.
- Self-motivated with the ability to meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Ability to communicate effectively with Stakeholders, Team Members and Leadership in both written and verbal form.
- Must be able to work on call as required.
- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
