Mō is seeking enthusiastic candidates to expand its software-engineering team and contributed to building out our hybrid proof-of-reputation and proof-of-stake blockchain platform. We are looking for candidates at junior to mid-levels, and qualified individuals would have expertise working with blockchain, cryptographic libraries, distributed systems, or related technologies. Experience with Rust and golang are also desired. A bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or equivalent background) is required.

Your task will be to contribute to implementing the first cryptographically secure design of proof-of-reputation-based (in short PoR-based) blockchain. Our goal is to demonstrate a system which is provably secure if the reputations accurately capture reality, and preserves its basic security properties even if they do not, as long as the majority of the stake in the system lies in honest hands.

Blockchain software engineers will join our core software development team working on the Mōbby blockchain. Members of this team work closely with our elite research team led by blockchain expert Prof. Vassilis Zikas ) at Purdue. The team also includes Prof. Rafail Ostrovsky ) and other top researchers in cryptography, as well as one of the "fathers of the Internet": Prof. Leonard Kleinrock ) both at UCLA.

Our team is at a very early stage and successful candidates will have significant influence over the design and development of the platform, as well as potential leadership opportunities as our project grows. We also encourage and support employees in publishing technical papers.
