- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
- Experience with FEA software and Creo preferred
- Knowledge of structural load calculations for beams, runways, wheel loads, crane loads, etc.
- Ability to perform design and analysis calculations for crane supporting structures
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
- Project management experience
- Technical knowledge in Overhead Cranes, Bridge Design or Structural Steel Buildings
- Perform calculations for design and analysis of crane structures and related components
- Ensure compliance with design specifications and maintain detailed records
- Work closely with sales team on proposals
- Manage projects from inception to completion
- Supervise subcontractors and technicians on project work
- Plan and oversee material orders and delivery schedules
- Meet project deadlines and budgets according to customer requirements
- Interpret data accurately for project needs
- Follow safety policies of Simmers Crane Design & Services, OSHA standards, and clients' safety protocols
- Prepare documentation such as invoicing and project closeouts efficiently
- Multitask across various projects simultaneously
- Respond quickly to problem-solve under stress
