    Job Description:

    Looking for a dedicated individual to support the research initiatives of the Bluhm Cardiovascular Institute Clinical Trials Unit. Collaborate with physicians and clinical team to implement various research protocols and conduct studies from start to finish.



    Key Responsibilities:
    • Recruit, screen, enroll, and follow study participants over the course of assigned research protocols.
    • Coordinate the implementation of clinical protocols and develop protocol-specific procedures.
    • Perform patient recruitment and evaluate subjects for study qualification.
    • Monitor patients in research protocols, record data, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
    • Collect and maintain confidential records, review study forms, and ensure data accuracy.


    Minimum Qualifications:
    • BS in nursing with at least 3 years of experience in clinical research or administration.
    • RN Licensure in Illinois required.

    Minimum Competencies:
    • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Strong computer skills including Word, Excel, internet, and email.
    • Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills.
    • Attention to detail and highly organized.
    • Excellent clinical assessment skills and ability to make independent decisions.

    Preferred Qualifications:
    • Master of Science degree.
    • Experience in cardiovascular research.

    Salary Range:
    Between $67,978 - $84,973 per year based on experience and qualifications.
