    We are currently hiring an

    Electrical Certification Compliance Engineer

    Hours:
    Full-time salary, Mon-Fri; 40 hours.


    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
    Coordinates the electrical compliance and certification program at Espec North America.
    Approves EFRs that require electrical code compliance.
    Authorizes the application of the certification mark and distribution of the certification labels.
    Removes any certification mark from the chamber and issues an internal non-conformance if a non-conforming product is discovered.
    Functions as contact for the registrar of any electrical certification programs.
    Directs/manages the certification program for chambers at ENA; UL, CSA, CE.
    Stays up to date on all industry standards related to ENA chambers.
    Keeps the electrical design standard updated for current industry safety standard requirements.
    Coordinates with Japan for any EC models ENA is directly importing, and assists the engineering design team with modifications that are required to make the chamber compliant to the required codes
    Evaluates EC chambers to ensure they comply with NEC for direct import in to the U.S.
    Functions as primary inspection person for electrical parts that require certification marking; interfaces with Purchasing.

    Oversees and manages the risk assessment process for chambers at ENA, including leading the teams and scheduling the RAs for standard models.

    Maintains overall chamber design safety standards.
    Facilitates regular meetings to review and to train on the EC/ENA safety standards with various Engineering groups.
    Maintains current knowledge of refrigeration safety standards for Europe; works with refrigeration engineer for pressure directive compliance.
    Supports Colorado location as needed.
    Limited travel may be required.

    Requirements:
    Bachelors of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or Master Electrician license preferred.
    Training/knowledge in electrical standards compliance.
    Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the production shop.
    Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
