Job Title: Backend Developer (Leipzig, 70% Remote)

Salary: 100k per year

Contract Duration: 18 months

Language Requirement: Must have C1 proficiency in German

Responsibilities:

  • Develop advanced software solutions using cloud-native technology.
  • Design and implement microservices and APIs.
  • Automate testing processes.
  • Collaborate to ensure the security and reliability of systems.
  • Contribute to the architecture design of enterprise solutions.
  • Assist in establishing pipelines for continuous integration and delivery.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and SQL databases.
  • Experience with REST interfaces and microservice development.
  • Knowledge of containerized microservices with Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with software engineering methods, agile development (Scrum, Kanban), test-driven development, and continuous integration/delivery.
  • Ideally experienced in system integration within a microservices environment (API management, messaging, IAM, etc.).
  • Proficient with development tools and methods (e.g., Gitlab, SonarQube, Cucumber, Swagger).
  • Strong communication skills
