    Description
    • Handle complex accounting issues related to clients, including reconciliations and account analysis.
    • prepare and review financial statements for clients.
    • Handle data management for clients and maintain client records.
    • Attend meetings with clients for training and updates, however no direct communication with clients
    • Review and analyze general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial statements.
    • Prepare and file tax returns and ensure compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations.
    • Analyze financial information to identify trends and provide recommendations to improve financial performance.
    • Manage and mentor junior accounting staff and provide guidance and training on accounting procedures and best practices.
    • Assist in the implementation of new accounting software or processes as needed.
    • Participate in special projects and perform ad hoc analyses as needed to support business decisions and strategic initiatives.
    • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, policies, and procedures.
    • Support the Accounting Manager in any additional accounting-related tasks as required.
    • Assist in senior bookkeeping responsibilities.
    • Record and reconcile financial transactions, including invoices, bills, checks, sales, purchases, and expenses, in accordance with accounting standards and company policies.
    • Maintaining accurate records of accounts payable and accounts receivable
    • Reconciling bank and credit card statements
    • Preparing and filing tax forms, such as 1099s and sales tax returns
    • Generating financial reports on a regular basis, such as profit and loss statements and balance sheets
    • Assist in preparing and filing tax forms, such as 1099s and local taxes returns depending on the state.
    • Providing support for audits and other compliance-related activities
