Description

Leprino is looking for a Maintenance Supervisor for their cutting-edge cheese and whey manufacturing plant in Lubbock, TX. Join the Plant Maintenance team to drive innovation, technological progress, process enhancement, and production effectiveness to new heights.

Leprino Foods initiated the construction of the $1 billion facility in 2022, with Phase 1 operational in 2025 and full operation expected by 2026.

Lead, guide, mentor, and develop teams of up to 40 maintenance technicians daily.
Collaborate with various departments within the plant to uphold production and quality standards.
Ensure proper training and growth opportunities for maintenance staff.
Offer guidance to maintenance employees for plant upkeep and repairs.
Respond swiftly to maintenance emergencies to minimize downtime.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize critical tasks efficiently.
Implement quality systems to achieve departmental goals.
Monitor operations for efficiency and recommend improvements.
Demonstrate essential qualities like humility, collaboration, and innovation as a Leprino team member.

Minimum Qualifications:

Associate/Technical Degree with 3 years of leadership experience OR 5 years in an industrial setting including 3 years in a leadership role.
Ability to work extended shifts of 10-12 hours.
Proficiency in PLCs and automated machinery control systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Industrial Management with 4 years as a maintenance supervisor in dairy manufacturing.
Experience with MAXIMO Work Order Execution system.
Familiarity with boilers, compressors, and refrigeration systems.
