- Control panel and cable design for paint finishing and sealer robotic control systems
- Configure FANUC America's paint and sealer robots to meet specific project requirements
- Attend project kickoff meetings and take active participation; obtain a clear understanding from the Project Manager and team of what is expected from the Electrical Engineering group, clarify any discrepancies, and ensure project schedule is followed and all deadlines are met
- Complete specification of electrical components
- Review and clarify customer specifications
- Review electrical drawings for completeness and accuracy, and release installation drawings including schematics for review with the installation engineer
- Work closely with several other team members in the Paint Division to provide process driven system solutions
- Troubleshoot electrical circuits
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or related technical engineering discipline or equivalent relevant experience Â
- Minimum three years of experience designing industrial control panels Â
- Prior experience with control system design including PLCs, transformers, safety relays, light curtains, sensors, motors, circuit breakers, encoders, wire sizing, cabling and grounding
- AutoCAD experience
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical circuits
- Working knowledge of Electrical codes NEC, NFPA, ANSI, NEMA
