    JOB SUMMARY

As a Research Associate, you will play a key role in our core team, contributing to daily operations and advancing research to pioneer cutting-edge battery cells.
    DESCRIPTION
    Looking for a skilled Research Associate II to join our dynamic team in San Diego, CA. The ideal candidate must be detail-oriented, independent, and capable of handling diverse tasks in a fast-paced environment. This role involves working in a wet lab environment, requiring expertise in chemical handling and laboratory procedures.
    RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Adhere to safety protocols for handling materials and chemicals
    • Meticulously document work in various records
    • Follow standard operating procedures with precision
    • Maintain an organized lab space and perform general lab duties
    • Conduct experiments and analyze data as directed
    • Develop new methods and procedures for research projects
    • Promote a safe work environment and contribute to safety initiatives
    • Perform other duties as assigned by the company

    REQUIREMENTS
    • Bachelor's degree in science or engineering
    • 3+ years of laboratory experience
    • Knowledge of chemical handling best practices
    • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
    • Basic machining skills
    • Capacity to lift 35 lbs. and stand for extended periods
    • Dexterity for handling small objects
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
    • Strong willingness to learn and improve processes
    Starting salary range for this role is $65,000.00 - $90,000.00 annually, with additional benefits like health coverage, 401k, and stock options.
