Responsibilities:

Utilize standard engineering calculations related to design of Moineau type pumps and power sections
Complete assignments received from supervisor using established design tools and procedures
Facilitate the ordering and testing of prototype and qualification powersections
Measure and record accurate and complete documentation of data and test results in a timely manner
Interact with personnel in other departments and disciplines
Participate in action plans for new projects defined by supervisor
Consistently produce quality work and recommend areas where quality can be improved
Assist with generation and delivery of internal and external customer presentations
Provide disposition of nonconforming powersection product as needed
Process powersection related design requests in JDE, Teamcenter, and related software
Provide detail drawings and manufacturing parameters
Provide training on measuring and maintaining power sections
Assist with investigation of powersection field failures

Qualifications/Requirements:

5 years power section design and testing experience
Product specific design training able to use design concepts, manufacturing knowledge, and repair knowledge to trouble shoot product function issues.
CAD create/manipulate complex models/parts/assemblies and drawings
Product requests: Receive, create and process product requests in document control software such as Teamcenter and JDE
Ability to communicate effectively with technical and nontechnical personnel
Ability to plan, organize, and coordinate work flow
Skills in verbal communications, problem solving, and record keeping
