- Helpers assist electricians, under direct / indirect supervision, in the installation, repair, replacement and maintenance of electrical systems, appliances and equipment.
- Leadmen will be in charge of leading a crew in effectively installing electrical equipment to the standard of the NEC code.
- Material Handling
- Wire Pulling
- Assist in the installation of equipment / boxes / fixtures etc.
- Keep worksite clean and free of debris
- Follow all safety rules and alerts a supervisor if safety hazards are identified
- Assemble and install small to large electrical parts and pieces
- Complete projects within a timely manner.
- Must be willing to take direction and learn Teamwork and a positive attitude is an absolute must
- Transportation to / from work (Valid driver's license is required.)
- Come to work on time every day (Monday thru Friday) with appropriate attire and hand tools
- Ability to SAFELY use hand / power tools and / or equipment
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs when required on the job and loading and unloading materials.
- Must be able to climb a ladder with materials / tools and work safely
- Demonstrate safe work habits and proper care of tools and equipment
- Work well in close proximity with others.
- Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, crawl, climb, kneel, balance, push, pull and reach overhead.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints is a PLUS
- Comply with any and all company policies and procedures.
