Description

The Facility Coordinator
is responsible for oversight of the staff and residential needs at The Gardens of Mt. Pleasant, during their shift
. This role will include facilitating,
assisting, and directing care provided by Residential Assistants, Certified Nursing Assistants, and Medication Technicians
. This position will also include supervision of quality assurance, the facility environment, and state regulatory compliance. This position will
be responsible for continuous evaluation of our residents in adherence to Community Based Residential Facilities as outlined in Wisconsin Statues DHS 83.**:

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Protects
resident's rights, privacy, and respect
- Maintains awareness of all residents and
is responsible for ensuring their safety, health, and welfare
- Communicates essential information to
direct
care
staff, Residents, and external contacts as assigned while
maintaining confidentiality.


- Performs functions of
direct
care
staff role as needed to ensure needs of residents are met
- Provides direction to and is a role model for Resident Assistants and Medication Aides
- Ensures that cleaning tasks and duties are completed
- Identifies
and implements tasks and activities designed to assist
each resident to meet individual goals as identified** in the Individual Service Plan (ISP)
- Provides assistance** with medicatio**n administration as needed
- Monitor and communicate residents needs and changes in behavior with staff
- Develop working knowledge of all federal, state regulations, and company policy and procedures (DHS 83)
- Utilizes standard precautions and follows infection control procedures
- Ensure that all personnel, residents, and visitors follow established policies and procedures, including safety regulations, fire protection and prevention policies, smoking regulations, infection control procedures, and waste and disposal procedures**:

- ** Attend meetings and training, participate on committees as assigned or as it relates to the position
- Must have patience, tact, enthusiasm and a positive attitude towards residents, staff, families, **and **visitors
- Utilizes critical thinking to solve problems and make decisions
- Acts as the person in charge of **resident's care and co-workers** when scheduled
- Assist** in the investigation of resident complaints as needed
- Report injuries, falls, and allegations of abuse and neglect directly to the Administrator
- Reports to staffing coordinators if there is any staffing shortages or any issues pertaining to scheduling
- Report to human resources in regard to
any insubordination or policy violations that arise with staff

Qualifications:
- One year of supervisory experience in healthcare preferred.
- CBRF certified listed on the registry
- Must be able to multitask and work independently.
- Electronic Charting System experience preferred.
- Established work history
demonstrating leadership, organizational skills, initiative, and team building are preferred.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.*****
