Description

Mesker is looking for a paint technician who would be responsible for the startup and daily production of the Paint Booth System.


What you will be responsible for:

  • The organization and general maintenance of the Paint Booth Mezzanine
  • Perform the startup procedure for the Door Paint System
  • The active monitoring of the paint system throughout the shift
  • Cleaning and prepping parts and equipment
  • Communication with door packing and other paint employees
  • Daily paint and product testing and logging
  • Must provide necessary reports/data to Lead and/or Manager per a schedule
  • Must be a team player who actively communicates with coworkers and works with the intent of maximizing the paint department's potential while always striving for improvement

What will you bring to the table (Skills/Experience Required):

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of industrial paint experience, automated spray system experience preferred.
  • Manufacturing/Maintenance experience preferred
  • Forklift Certified (training offered)
  • General Computer Skills
  • Must be able to communicate in written and oral form involving reading, writing, and listening
  • Basic math skills required
  • Proven measurement and mathematical fraction/decimal conversion skills
  • Must be able to read a tape measure/scale to the 1/16th
  • Must be able to determine whether parts meet specifications
