Responsibilities:

• Maintain security and control within a correctional facility
• Monitor inmate activities and behavior
• Conduct searches of inmates and their living areas
• Enforce facility rules and regulations
• Respond to emergencies and maintain order in the facility

• Write reports detailing incidents, violations, and inmate behavior

Experience:

• Previous experience in law enforcement or corrections is preferred
• Knowledge of correctional procedures, policies, and practices
• Familiarity with first aid and CPR techniques
• Proficient in conflict management and deescalation strategies
• Ability to effectively communicate with inmates, staff, and visitors
• Strong observation skills and attention to detail
• Experience with report writing and documentation
• Familiarity with CCTV monitoring systems

Pay:
From $21.44 per hour
