- Assist in reviewing and analyzing case materials
- Evaluate new and complex cases
- Determine probable cause and plan approaches for further evidence
- Investigate facts and laws of cases
- Prepare for pretrial activities and manage witnesses
- Assist in convincing affected individuals of legal positions
- Prepare legal documents and orders
- Organize files, documents, and exhibits
- Summarize documents and proceedings
- Provide training and support to other personnel
- Utilize databases and programs for data extraction and reporting
- Perform other assigned duties
- Paralegal Certificate with experience or High School Diploma/GED with paralegal experience
- Automated litigation support experience
- Knowledge of forfeiture law and trial experience
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office and other common software applications
- U.S. Citizenship and background investigation required
