Stabil Drill is currently seeking a Full-Time
Shop Technician to join our team in
Houston, TX. Our new facility is being built in Conroe TX with a projected opening date of March 2025.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- General shop, breakroom, & cleanup
- Assist in special projects
- Shop organization and supply storage
- Daily & Weekly Inventory
- Receiving and distribution of supplies
- Assist with the movement of tools
- Carbide / Sludge Containment
- Operate a saw
- Assist in daily, weekly, and monthly preventative maintenance on equipment
- Operate a shop truck for local errands and deliveries.
- Welder's Helper
- Hand Grinding
- Machine Grinding
- Ring Gauging
- Tool Prep
- Bead Blasting & Shot-Peening
- Follow established safety policies and procedures.
- On a rotation basis, will be required to be on call when scheduled.
- Ensure full awareness of, and compliance with, the requirements of all relevant company/customer QHSE handbooks, QHSE procedures and emergency procedures.
- Perform any other delegated duties considered appropriate in order to maintain the efficient running of the department.
Education/Experience:
- Minimum of two to five years' experience in a related field preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent general education degree (GED) preferred.
- Equivalent combination of experience and/or training.
