- Conduct detailed cost analysis and reporting to support management decision-making.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
- Perform account reconciliations to maintain the integrity of financial data.
- Oversee and maintain inventory processes, including cycle counts and inventory valuation.
- Assist with external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Monitor and control costs to enhance profitability and efficiency.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure accurate cost allocation and reporting.
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial reporting and cost management.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
- CPA designation is a plus.
- 3-5 years of experience in cost accounting, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of accounting practices and GAAP principles.
- Proficiency in financial statement preparation and analysis.
- Experience with account reconciliation and inventory management.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with ERP systems, such as SAP or Oracle.
- Knowledge of cost accounting standards (CAS) and manufacturing cost accounting.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions.
