Day to Day:
Our client is looking for an Engineering Technologist. This is an entry level position that will be fully trained This role is on the major projects team which works on a variety of distribution design projects. The role is focused on designing and entering work orders for the team into proprietary client systems. This is mainly in the office but may include some field time. The purpose of this position is to provide technical expertise to accurately evaluate options and design safe, cost effective, and reliable distribution facilities for roadway, highway, and large-scale lighting.
Learn company/client policies and procedures for the development of site designs for electrical distribution facilities to serve a variety of customers.
Prepares site drawings and construction sketches for various installations of electrical facilities in a cost-effective manner that maximizes safety and service reliability.
Prepares project or job packages including material estimates and material requisitions of the materials required for the prepared distribution electrical designs.
Compensation:
$18/hr to $21/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
