The Kinderhaus Schatzkiste in Yatesville, PA provides full-day care for a total of 50 children aged three years until they start school in three groups, as well as 20 children aged 1-3 years in two additional full-day groups.

The facility follows the Baden-Württemberg Orientation Plan and operates with open groups within the respective age ranges of U3 and Ü3.

Currently, the concept of workshop pedagogy is being introduced.

We are currently seeking an
educational specialist (m/f/d)**: in full-time for an indefinite position at the Kinderhaus Schatzkiste.

Initially, the position will be limited until July 2024 and will involve leading the U3 group.


Your responsibilities:


  • Educational work with the children
  • Parental involvement
  • Leading your own group
  • Implementing the facility's concept within the group
  • Close collaboration with other group leaders and the facility management
  • Cooperation with the sponsor

Your profile:


  • Completed training according to the specialist catalog 7 KiTaG, e.g. educator, childhood educator
  • Relevant professional experience
  • Role model in your pedagogical work
  • Good communication and cooperation skills
  • Willingness to take on responsibility
