CNC Machine Operator - Bloomington, United States - ASC
Description
Set up and operate computer numerically controlled horizontal or vertical lathe or machining center to perform machining operations.- Write machine tool programs. Study blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, and specifications to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work piece.
- Select, align, and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials on machines such as mills, lathes, jig borers, grinders, and shapers.
- Verify conformance of finished work piece to specifications.
- Help run machines at the most efficient and productive manner to set production rates for those part numbers.
- Maintain clean and neat work area, including machine and floor. Required to have machine, floor and work area clean at the start of oncoming shift.
Pay:
$ $30.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
