- Manage and coordinate multiple projects to ensure they are completed on time
- Communicate project status direct management, collaborate with project managers, engineers, and designers to gather necessary information to provide estimates
- Ensure projects align with business priorities
- Delegate work to team members based on skills and expertise
- Monitor and track project costs throughout the construction process to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints and profitability
- Develop cost estimates and project plans
- Review the work progress on daily basis
- Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to project status
- Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones
- Order materials with project timelines in mind
- Review and analyze project plans, specifications, and other documents to prepare accurate cost estimates for custom fabrication projects
- Utilize construction management software and tools to create detailed line items and cost breakdowns
- Keep up to date with industry trends, materials, and labor costs to ensure accurate estimates
- Maintaining and creating new SKUs in our software system
- Creating bill of materials based on project requirements
- Estimate custom projects
- Material procurement
- Proven experience as a Project Estimator in the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of construction management principles, practices, and techniques
- Proficiency in using construction management, CRM, and design software
- Ability to read and interprets blueprints, specification, and contract documentation
- Strong interpersonal and team leadership skills
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy in estimating
- Problem solving skills
- Collaborative, working with different teams
- Strong organizational, time management, and verbal and written communication skills
