Job descriptionHiring a Construction Project Manager to join our growing company for the Lathrop, CA location. You will manage multiple projects simultaneously and ensure that all deadlines are met. You will also take the lead on projects, delegating tasks, and managing the productivity of your team.
This role is responsible for providing quotes based on design scope, required materials, and workmanship for custom fabrication projects through research and collaboration.
Responsibilities:
Manage and coordinate multiple projects to ensure they are completed on time
Communicate project status direct management, collaborate with project managers, engineers, and designers to gather necessary information to provide estimates
Ensure projects align with business priorities
Delegate work to team members based on skills and expertise
Monitor and track project costs throughout the construction process to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints and profitability
Develop cost estimates and project plans
Review the work progress on daily basis
Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to project status
Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones
Order materials with project timelines in mind
Review and analyze project plans, specifications, and other documents to prepare accurate cost estimates for custom fabrication projects
Utilize construction management software and tools to create detailed line items and cost breakdowns
Keep up to date with industry trends, materials, and labor costs to ensure accurate estimates
Maintaining and creating new SKUs in our software system
Creating bill of materials based on project requirements
Estimate custom projects
Material procurement
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Project Estimator in the construction industry
Strong knowledge of construction management principles, practices, and techniques
Proficiency in using construction management, CRM, and design software
Ability to read and interprets blueprints, specification, and contract documentation
Strong interpersonal and team leadership skills
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy in estimating
Problem solving skills
Collaborative, working with different teams
Strong organizational, time management, and verbal and written communication skills
Ability to plan and see the big picture
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to travel
Job Type:

$67, $80,000.00 per year
