LinQuest has an immediate need for a Contracts Specialist to provide long-term support to the Communication and Guidance Contracting Division.

This position requires a Secret clearance and can be located in Los Angeles or San Diego, CA


Duties and Responsibilities:

Bring your passion to support pre
- and post-award federal contracts and improve the processes that defend our nation. This is an opportunity to make a direct impact on our country's defense acquisition and contract process.


Required Skills and Experience:


  • 5+ years of Federal, corporate, and local government contracting and procurement experience.
  • Former Contract Specialist
  • Experience providing procurement and cost administration services to major space related weapon systems.
  • Extensive knowledge of FAR & DFARS
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills experience managing and training team members.
  • Knowledge of cradletograve Government contracting including acquisition planning, market research, RFP development, and contract execution
  • Problem solver, analytical, excellent communication skills

Desired Skills and Experience:


  • Experience as NOAA Contracting Officer with unlimited warrant authority.
  • Space Systems Command (SSC) experience
  • Possession of strong interpersonal and facilitation skills
  • Possession of strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Possession of strong leadership skills
  • Master's degree
  • Active Security Clearance: Secret clearance minimum
  • Bachelor's degree

Compensation:

The projected compensation range for this position is $73,100.00 to $166, annualized USD).
