Position Summary
The primary responsibility of the IT Operations Lead is to oversee and manage RESA Power IT infrastructure operations.

This role requires a hands-on approach to networking and infrastructure support, as well as strong leadership skills to supervise our Help Desk team and System Administrator group.

This role will also be responsible for efficiently managing acquisition infrastructure integrations and overseeing IT purchasing and review processes. This position will report to the CIO.


Responsibilities

  • Leadership and Supervision: Supervise a team of IT infrastructure professionals, including the Help Desk team and System Administrators. Provide mentorship, guidance, and performance evaluations to ensure a highfunctioning IT department.

Infrastructure Support:

Offer hands-on expertise in networking and infrastructure, ensuring robust and reliable IT services for both in-house and field service employees.

Address complex networking issues, implement upgrades, and maintain system stability.

  • Acquisition Integration Management: Oversee the IT infrastructure aspects of company acquisitions. Coordinate with internal and external teams to ensure timely and smooth integration of systems and operations, minimizing disruption to ongoing business activities.
  • IT Purchasing and Review: Manage IT purchasing process for infrastructure needs, including vendor negotiations, procurement, and budget management. Regularly review and assess IT equipment and software needs, ensuring the company stays at the forefront of technological advancements.
  • External Infrastructure Support Partner Management: Strategically manage relationships with external infrastructure support partners. Ensure these partnerships are leveraged to maximize efficiency, service quality, and costeffectiveness in IT operations.
  • Project Management: Lead ITrelated projects from conception to completion. Set goals, milestones, and deadlines, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Technical Support and Maintenance: Ensure the ongoing maintenance of IT systems, including regular updates and security patches. Provide level 3 support for complex technical issues escalated from the Help Desk team.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with other departments to understand their IT needs and provide effective solutions. Maintain clear and regular communication with senior management about IT operations and strategies.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience and a minimum of 5 years of experience in IT operations, with a focus on networking and infrastructure support.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver results while working in a fastpaced, changedriven environment with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent business partnering and interpersonal skills. Able to establish rapport with individuals from diverse backgrounds and experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Able to tailor communication style with all levels in the organization.
  • Action oriented with the ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks simultaneously; this includes project scheduling.
  • Proven leadership skills. Able to communicate, direct, and motivate a team.
  • Experience in IT purchasing, vendor management, and budgeting.
  • Excellent problemsolving abilities and a handson approach to technical challenges.
